⚠️ Alpha Stage

Expect bugs, instability, and incomplete features.

Closed-source launchers are locking features behind paywalls and adding trackers. My goal is to offer powerful features with no compromises on privacy.

YAGNI ("You Aren't Gonna Need It") is a principle which arose from extreme programming (XP) that states a programmer should not add functionality until deemed necessary.

Why Choose Yagni Launcher?

Yagni matches and extends stock functionality without the bloat, built from scratch to stay fast, lightweight, and battery-efficient.

⚡ Modern — Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with no legacy overhead

🪶 Small — ~2 MB, 80–90% smaller than typical stock launchers

🔋 Efficient — Minimal resource and battery use

WhatsNew:

- Updated Translations
- Bug fixes and stability improvements

While you can download the APKs here directly, you should preferably use an F-Droid client so the app stays up-to-date on your device.

core library to enable emoji compatibility in Kitkat and newer devices to avoid the empty emoji characters.
Androidx Graphics (Utility)
leverages graphics facilities across multiple Android platform releases.
