SearchLauncher replaces browsing through your phone with fast, keyboard-centric search. Your home screen opens with a keyboard, and one bar finds everything: what is on your phone, and what is on the web.Features:
* Search apps, app shortcuts, contacts, settings, snippets, and custom actions
* Open web results in the built-in browser, which blocks ads and trackers by default
* Swipe the search bar sideways to switch browser tabs, or up to see them all as live previews
* Reach your tabs straight from the home screen, without opening the browser first
* Save bookmarks under a title you choose, and find visited pages back from the search bar
* Use it as your default launcher or as a home screen widget
* Launch web searches through configurable shortcuts
* Keep frequently used apps close with favorites and usage-aware history
* Store and copy text snippets from the search UI

Privacy notes:
* Web shortcuts and search suggestions are optional
* They may contact third-party search providers when enabled
* The browser's blocklist is downloaded from the StevenBlack hosts project
* Crash reporting is opt-in only
WhatsNew:
Background indexing no longer fights you for the CPU.
Rebuilding the search index used to hitch typing even though it ran on another thread. It now runs at background priority, only refreshes apps that actually changed, and no longer re-encodes every shortcut icon on each pass.
Anti-Features: NonFreeNet(this application promotes/depends a non-Free network service):
⇒ Search shortcuts and search suggestions query third-party services such as Google, YouTube and Wikipedia. They are optional and can be removed.Tracking(the application tracks and reports your activity to somewhere – usually either without your consent, or by default (i.e. you’d have to actively disable it)):
⇒ Optional crash reporting to a self-hosted GlitchTip instance. It is off until you opt in, and can be turned off again in Settings.
While you can download the APKs here directly, you should preferably use an F-Droid client so the app stays up-to-date on your device.
