Wortmühle ("word mill") is a daily German word puzzle: build as many German words as you can from nine (or eight) letters on the 3×3 mill board. Every word must use the center letter, and every puzzle contains at least one pangram — a word using all the letters.Features:
• One new puzzle every day, with the last seven days replayable
• Two daily puzzles: 9 and 8 letters — 2500 nine-letter and 3000 eight-letter puzzles built in, fully offline
• Scoring with own letter values (1–4), with a pangram bonus
• Tap a found word for its definition — bundled, no network needed
• Light/dark mode selectable (follows the system otherwise)
• No permissions, no tracking, no ads, no accounts, no Google services
The app requests no permissions at all and never touches the network. The definitions ship with it: they come from de.wiktionary.org, are licensed CC BY-SA 4.0 and are shortened to the first two senses. Each definition carries a link to its Wiktionary page — tapping it opens your browser.
Note: the game and its vocabulary are entirely in German. The word list is derived from free sources (igerman98 word list, de.wiktionary, OpenSubtitles frequency data).
