Be nice is a tiny app launcher. Its sole purpose is to launch apps in split-screen mode. This is more than convenient if an app forces the device into portrait mode. While portrait mode is the preferred orientation on smartphones, tablets and foldables are often used in landscape mode. Instead of rotating your device just to be able to use an app, launch it using Be nice.
Be nice also supports shortcuts! Create App Pairs and pin them directly to your home screen (if your launcher supports it). Or use dynamic shortcuts to launch your favorites by long-pressing the app icon. Dynamic shortcuts are also shown inside Be nice.

While you can download the APKs here directly, you should preferably use an F-Droid client so the app stays up-to-date on your device. Some clients have this repo enabled by default, e.g. Neo Store, Droid-ify, or, of course, the IzzyOnDroid client by Sunil. With others (like the official client) you'll have to add this repo manually (see the hint on top of the package list for how to do that).
