This application estimates vertical speed, using data from internal barometer and inertial sensors. It will not work correctly inside the pressurized cabin of a passenger jet.* A vertical speed indicator is displayed on the screen, unless the app in background;
* Altitude above mean sea level (MSL) is displayed, with adjustable altimeter setting;
* If sound output is enabled, it keeps working when the app is in background.
While you can download the APKs here directly, you should preferably use an F-Droid client so the app stays up-to-date on your device.
