geminiAssist is a simple WebView wrapper for Google Gemini. It blocks all URLs that are not essential for functioning.You can switch on/off blocking by clicking the button at the top right.
Swipe up a bit to hide the button.
Long press the button to reset the chat. This clears cookies, cache and site data, and signs you out.
WhatsNew:
The block button can now be dragged anywhere, so it no longer covers Gemini's temporary chat button. Its position is remembered.
Sign-in cookies and site data are excluded from Android backups and device transfers.
Cleartext (HTTP) and mixed content are always blocked.
Attaching a file no longer asks for the storage permission.
Long pressing a link no longer shows a debug message; links behind images are copied correctly.
The "microphone permission denied" message is now translated.
