accessing content from a MythTV Backend

Google Play:Check if it's there

MythTV Player allows you to browse and play your recordings and videos on your MythTV Backend.

If you plan to use this application, you are required to have a fully functioning MythTV Backend version v0.27+. If you are interested in learning more about MythTV, check their web site.

MythTV Player will natively play HTTP Live Streams transcoded by the MythTV Backend. However, you have the option to launch a recording or video with an external player. We recommend VLC for Android.

anti Anti-Features:
  • NonFreeDep: The application depends on a non-free application (usually Google Services) – i.e. it requires it to be installed on the device, but does not include it.
  • NonFreeNet: This application promotes or entirely depends a non-Free network service.
  • Tracking: The application tracks and reports your activity to somewhere – usually either without your consent, or by default (i.e. you’d have to actively disable it). It’s commonly used for when developers obtain crash logs without the user’s consent, or when an app is useless without some kind of authentication.
