Wiki-Say-It! lets you record pronunciations of words, names, and phrases in your language and contribute them to Wikimedia Commons, linking each recording from the matching Wikidata item or lexeme form. It brings the flow of the browser-based Lingua Libre to your phone.

How it works

Also

Wiki-Say-It! is free and open-source software (Apache-2.0), written by a volunteer. It has no ads, no analytics, and no tracking; the only network connections it makes are to Wikimedia sites.

WhatsNew:

* Smaller download (about 740 KB less) by leaving out native libraries for an old CPU type that no supported device uses
* Build changes so F-Droid can verify its builds match the official release

anti Anti-Features:
  • TetheredNet (This app is bound to a certain network service):
⇒ Depends on Wikimedia servers (sign-in, Commons, Wikidata, Wikipedia) with no way to use another MediaWiki instance.

While you can download the APKs here directly, you should preferably use an F-Droid client so the app stays up-to-date on your device.
