IntruderSelfie silently snaps a front-camera photo every time the screen is unlocked with a precise timestamp.
Key points
- Runs as a lightweight foreground service after device boot – no need to keep the app open.
- Works offline – no internet, ads, or third-party libraries.
- Uses only the minimum Android permissions: Camera for photos, Foreground-Service to stay alive, Boot-Completed to start after reboot, and Storage to save images locally.

How it works
- Open the app and follow the simple Setup Wizard to grant Camera & Notification permissions.
- A persistent notification “Watching for unlocks…” appears; you can minimise the app.
- Each unlock triggers a silent photo saved to the app's secure gallery.
- View photos in the new Full-Screen Viewer with details or delete them instantly.
- Photos remain on-device only; no cloud, no data sharing.
Privacy & Security
- No analytics, trackers, or background network traffic.
- Source code is publicly available for review.

While you can download the APKs here directly, you should preferably use an F-Droid client so the app stays up-to-date on your device. Some clients have this repo enabled by default, e.g. Neo Store, Droid-ify, or, of course, the IzzyOnDroid client by Sunil. With others (like the official client) you'll have to add this repo manually (see the hint on top of the package list for how to do that).
